SHORT WINTERS AND LONG, LAZY SUMMERS!
Spring 2009 started towards the middle of February, with warm sunny days and cold nights. The summer really got underway at the end of April, when we started to eat outside in the evenings. We had hardly any rain after early Spring with only a couple of short thundery showers in the evenings when the weather got hot in July. Summer actually lasted until late October, with daytime temperatures into the mid-seventies! November has seen some very much needed rain but with a recent spell of warm sunny days, cooler nights and misty early mornings. The daytime temperature recently has been 17°C with night time temperatures hovering around the 10°C mark.
